Expert Group of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine compared the draft laws on local elections, registered in Verkhovna Rada. Experts have analyzed four daft laws on local elections and defined their distinctive features. Comparison involved following characteristics: number of members of local councils, electoral system, territorial organization of elections, duration of election process, election commissions, nomination and registration of candidates, informational support of the election, election campaign, voting method and ballot form, vote counting system and establishment of the election result.
